1. Eligibility

To rent a vehicle through Carrentals, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age. Drivers under 25 may be subject to a young driver surcharge.
• Hold a valid, unexpired driver's license.
• Present a valid form of payment in your name at the time of pickup.
• Meet any additional eligibility requirements specified at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements or who we believe poses a safety or fraud risk.

2. Reservations and Bookings

• Reservations made through our website are subject to vehicle availability.
• A valid credit or debit card may be required to guarantee your reservation.
• Prices shown at the time of booking are estimates and may vary based on rental duration, location, optional add-ons, and applicable taxes or fees.
• We reserve the right to cancel or modify a reservation in cases of vehicle unavailability, suspected fraud, or violation of these Terms.

3. Rental Period and Vehicle Return

• The rental period begins at the agreed pickup time and ends at the agreed return time and location.
• Vehicles must be returned on time, in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear, and with the same fuel level unless otherwise agreed.
• Late returns may result in additional charges, calculated on an hourly or daily basis.
• Vehicles must be returned to the designated rental location unless a different drop-off has been pre-arranged and confirmed.

4. Fees and Charges

You may be responsible for the following charges, where applicable:

• Base rental rate and any optional add-ons, such as GPS, child seats, or additional drivers.
• Fuel charges if the vehicle is not returned with the agreed fuel level.
• Late return fees.
• Cleaning fees for excessive dirt, odor, or damage beyond normal use.
• Traffic violations, tolls, or parking fines incurred during the rental period.
• Applicable taxes, surcharges, and airport or location fees.

5. Driver Responsibilities

By renting a vehicle from Carrentals, you agree to:

• Operate the vehicle safely and in compliance with all applicable traffic laws.
• Not use the vehicle for illegal purposes, racing, towing, or off-road driving unless explicitly permitted.
• Not sublease, transfer, or allow unauthorized individuals to drive the vehicle.
• Report any accidents, theft, or mechanical issues to Carrentals as soon as possible.

While we make every effort to provide the specific vehicle reserved, availability is not guaranteed. Carrentals reserves the right to substitute a comparable or upgraded vehicle at no additional cost if the reserved vehicle is unavailable.

• Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law.
• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or Services.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carrentals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services or rental vehicles.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
